Pros and cons of Breath Hold app for iPhone and iPad

Breath Hold app good for

Perfect. Now Im able to train my static tables comfortable wherever I am. No more stopwatch, no written tables to look at. The only feature I miss is a volume control. Thank you for this great app. Its in its current Version still the best App for training breathhold tables. I just love it.
Pretty good but it pauses whenever you open another app need an option to run in background. Also an option to start on the first hold instead so you dont have to wait 2 minutes to start.
Great app. Passes the time and in 2 dawns has increased the time I can hold my breath for by 45 seconds
As a fairly serious freediver, I was happy to see an apnea training app for the iPhone. It seems to work pretty well. But there are a few simple additions/improvements Id like to see. First, it would be great if the countdown followed the standard AIDA competition format: "Three minutes, Two minutes, One Thirty, One Minute, Thirty Seconds, Twenty Seconds, Ten Seconds, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Hold." (The user could enable/disable some or all of these in settings.) Also, during the hold, would be nice to (optionally) hear "Two minutes to go, One minute to go, Thirty seconds to go," etc. (Storing the sound clips in the app as .mp3 or .aac instead of .wav would save a ton of space, btw.) During the static tables, it would be helpful if the countdown timer were much larger; taking up the space between the Start and Reset buttons, for instance, or replacing the Max Breath Hold time / Workout type fields while the table is in progress. This would allow the user to easily see at a glance where he/she is at in the hold. An option to prevent the phone from locking up, and the ability to wake up the display with a shake (or preventing it from dimming), would be nice additions as well. Finally, as a personal preference, it would be nice to have a female voice option :-)
These tables are great! They give you structured workouts to increase you tolerance to increased levels of CO2, and to low levels of O2. The audible cadence is extremely useful, as it allows you to relax completely without worrying about time - critical for these types of workouts - or the app pausing when your phone sleeps. With this app, I have increased my Breath Hold time by a full minute! And I have only been using it for 3 days!! Woo!!
I think this is pretty good and Ive improved my Breath Hold by 13 seconds. The only problem is that it takes a while( about 16 minutes to improve your breath by a few seconds ) otherwise its perfect.

Some bad moments
